Depending on who you talk to, you might find Montanans to be very friendly, or you might come across one of those "go back where you came from" folks that seem to always be a little grumpy regarding people moving here.

To be fair, Montana is a popular destination and if you've never spent time in this part of the country, it isn't for everyone.

Sure, there's all the beautiful scenery along with the endless outdoor activities, but we also have long winters, smokey summers, and yes, animals that will eat you. Plus, we live on top of the world's biggest super volcano, so there's that.

However, if you are one of the many folks that dream of making Montana your home or just a super-rich person that would like to have a second or third home and only plan on visiting a few weeks out of the year, you need to educate yourself.

While there are many reasons why moving to Montana might sound attractive, there are also a few things you need to make sure that you're aware of.  In fact, Jimmy Briggs, a Youtuber, and Video Vlogger took the time to create a video that highlights The Top 10 Reasons Not To Move To Montana.

Even though Mr. Briggs doesn't live here, he does have some valid reasons for folks to consider before contacting the moving company and heading to Big Sky Country.

While his list is pretty accurate for the most part, he still missed out on a couple of things that folks need to know before moving here. The main one is, it's expensive. Oh sure, if you are one of the fancy rich folk that we talked about above, it won't be an issue, but if you're an average person that just wants to live in some of the most beautiful country in the world...it's going to cost ya.

So, let me ask, do you agree with Mr. Briggs's list?  Is there anything that he left off or was completely wrong about?  Send me a message and let me know via the radio station app.
