If you are willing to drop a lot of cash on a fancy dinner, you better hope it's worth the price.

Lovefood created a list of Each State's Most Expensive Restaurants, and the choice for Montana is quite surprising. The reason being, I was expecting a restaurant in Bozeman, Missoula, Big Sky, or even Whitefish to be the location of the most expensive restaurant in Montana. Sadly, I was mistaken.

The most expensive restaurant in Montana is TEN at the Northern Hotel in Billings, Montana. The TEN is an upscale restaurant known for its top-tier steaks you can order. The TEN also has many ENHANCEMENTS you can call for your steaks, such as foie gras butter(duck fat) or even add a lobster tail.

The steaks range from $50 to $175, it's all about how much are you willing to pay for a quality steak. Plus, the TEN has other entrees to enjoy if you aren't feeling a steak.

I have never heard of the TEN till today, but now this is on my radar as a restaurant I will have to try the next time I go to Billings.

If you don't want to travel to Billings for a fancy dinner, you are in luck. Bozeman has quite a few upscale restaurants to check out. We highly recommend Brigade, Urban Kitchen, Fielding's, or Blackbird. All of these restaurants are fancy but aren't as expensive as The TEN in Billings, but they do make delicious food.
