Montana's ER Wait Time Is Actually Pretty Short

Ask any Montana resident what they like the least about health care in America, and the cost will probably be at the top of the list, especially when visiting the emergency room.

However, I bet plenty of others would answer that ER wait times are also just as frustrating as the cost of your visit.

However, when it comes to waiting time in the Treasure State, we're doing way better than the rest of the country.

Where Does Montana Rank For ER Wait Times

The website AutoInsurance.com wanted to find out how long you can expect to be waiting in the emergency room for each state in America, and the results reveal one more reason we're lucky to be living in Montana.

Places like Washington, D.C., or states such as Maryland, you can expect to wait upwards of 4 to 5.5 hours.

Perhaps it's the fact we have less population in our state, or we're just more efficient in Montana, but I don't think I'll be complaining about how long I've been waiting anymore when you see our short wait times in the gallery below.

Top 10 States With the Shortest Emergency Room Waits

According to AutoInsurance.org, these states have the shortest ER wait times. They do note that their "wait time" calculations include the entire visit from arrival to treatment.
