Great Falls Museum Ranked As A Top 20 Tourist Attraction
We're pretty lucky in Great Falls to be honest with you. We're centrally located, meaning it doesn't take us long to get anywhere in the Big Sky. We've got some great outdoor activities just outside the city limits. Inside city limits we've got some really amazing places for both locals and visitors. One of which just ranked in the top 20 for attractions in Montana.
Great Falls has an abundance of places for visitors to check out; parks, hikes, bike trails, dams, shopping, restaurants and more. One of the highlights of Great Falls is the fantastic museums in our city.
Recently Planetware.com put out a list of the 20 Top Rated Tourist Attractions in Montana and a Great Falls museum made the list. Pretty good news for not only the museum but our economy as well.

So what museum came in ranked #13 on the list? Well for long time residents of Great Falls it might be pretty obvious.
That right, its the C.M. Russell Museum. It makes sense as Charlie Russell is one of Great Falls most famous residents plus one of the most famous "Cowboy Artists." Planetware.com had this to say about why visitors should visit,
A highlight is a chance to visit the original Russell House and Studio, now designated a National Historic Landmark. Also of interest is the museum's Russell Riders Sculpture Garden with its statues of area wildlife.
They go on to say Great Falls has plenty of other offerings to tourists such as Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center and The Rivers Edge Trail. All in all it's nice to see Great Falls making the list as a top place to visit when vacationing in Montana.
