One of the things that just clicked for my wife and me when we first met was our love of Halloween.

We both really enjoy the holiday and that time of year, and if you are a lover of all things fall and spooky, there is an amazing Halloween themed event that happens with our neighbor to the south.

Famington, Utah Has A Top-Rated Halloween Event

USA Today has a long-running series called "10Best," in which they allow readers to vote on certain places, events, and foods, just to name a few.

Right now they are running their "Favorite Theme Park Halloween Event," and Frightmares at Lagoon Amusement Park located in Farmington, Utah, is one of their finalists.

This could make for a wonderful weekend getaway for the whole family, and there are even different levels of scares, so no matter the age, there will be something everyone can enjoy.

There are so many fun options for those seeking a fright at Lagoon Park, but here are just a few examples, broken down by scare level.

Too Scary For Kids: Seance "This fully immersive haunted experience blends chilling live performance, intense physical effects, and unexpected audience participation."

Too Scary For Most Kids: Nightmare Midway "In this house of illusion, your eyes will deceive. Prepare for the fright you’ll undoubtedly receive."

Kid Friendly Fun: Treat Street "In this fun, non-scary children’s trick-or-treat trail, you will meet the friendly spirits that live inside the rides."
