Most dangerous time to drive during the weekend
In Montana the worst time to drive on the weekend is Saturday, which isn't a surprise since 42 other states had the same results. That makes sense, with all the miles between cities in Montana we do a lot of our traveling on the weekend. Almost 20% of all accidents happen on a Saturday.
Most dangerous time to drive during the weekday
Monday. It's always Monday right? Perhaps we're all just a little sleepy from staying up to late on Sunday. Maybe we're distracted by the kids on the way to school, or reaching for our coffee mug and taking our eyes off the road for just a second. Just over 14% of accidents in Montana happen on Mondays.
What time is the most dangerous
Oddly enough 2-3 PM is the most dangerous time in Montana, and we're kind of an anomaly for that. Montana along with Kansas and New Hampshire were the only states that had that specific hour as their most dangerous. Almost 7% of all accidents in Montana happen during that hour.
Safest day and time to be on the road?
Seems that would be Tuesday between 7-8 PM. Now don't all go out on the road at the same time or it won't be safe anymore.
