I'm not the only who is wondering why Great Falls stinks, right?

Living in Great Falls you become used to the certain smell that the refinery wafts across our city.

Today, today was something different. It didn't smell like the normal refinery smell, but I have no idea what it was.

I was for a few hours today blissfully unaware that the town smelled so bad.

Once I walked out of the studio and was no longer in a sealed building it was evident just how bad it smelled.

I'm also not the only one who noticed this right?

I mean I'm not suffering from a stroke, and it's only me that smells this, you all smell it too don't you?

Please tell me you all smell it.

When I asked my son if it was him, he told me it wasn't him and he wouldn't lie to me.

He's 4 and still believes his ears turn red when he lies, which is a lie I told him.

But seriously what is that smell?

It seemed to be coming off the Missouri River, but not near the refinery.

I knew I wasn't alone once my daughter said "There is that smelly smell again"

Turns out her school had even made an announcement that the smell wasn't coming from the school and to not worry.

So where is this smell coming from and how long can we expect it to last?

Maybe it was the refinery and the wind is really blowing it further along than normal.
