What Is Happening To The Black Friday Tradition?
I remember when I was in high school I would go out at 3 in the morning to get in line at Herberger's to take advantage of amazing sales and go throughout the mall as stores opened and get all of my shopping done-mostly for myself but sometimes for other people. Call it getting older but there is not a single sale that has made me that excited to get up that early to be one of the first people in line.
I had many years with family where we would even go to Billings or Missoula to go frenzy shopping and get some actual good deals. The deals however, seem to just be lackluster as of late. I think a lot of people take advantage of shopping online or even spending their Saturday out shopping at small businesses in Great Falls. The only advertisements I have seen for Black Friday have all been online. Let me know what you plan to do this year for Black Friday. Are you our looking for deals or just sitting on the couch shopping from your phone? You can send me a voice message on our app or email me HERE.
