Over the years, restaurants have come and gone here in Great Falls, some have left a more lasting legacy than others.

One area in particular in Great Falls that has seen quite a variety of restaurants come and go has been Marketplace.

More recently, we've seen a new business, Ocean Star Seafood Company, move into this area.

Highly recommend checking it out if you have not yet been there!

On The Border Mexican Grill And Cantina

You might remember when On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina was located in marketplace.

I'm not sure how long it was in this location, but I feel like it closed around when I moved to Great Falls.

Cattleman's Cut Steakhouse now calls that location home.

But I saw on the news the other day that On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina restaurant has filed bankruptcy.

The company recently announced that they will be closing 40 of their non-performing stores throughout the United States.

According to an article by USA Today, the chief restructuring officer told the news organization that the closures are due to economic conditions, labor shortages, and underperforming restaurants.

Best Mexican Food

To this day one of my favorite things from On The Border Mexican Grill and Cantina, is their salsa!

The good news is you can still buy this salsa at many grocery stores around town.

I hope even with their bankruptcy; they will continue to produce salsa!
