More Vendors Wanted for Big Taco Celebration in Great Falls

Great Falls is gearing up for arguably one of the greatest celebrations ever with Taco Takedown.

The event will be taking place at the Newberry this year on August 29th.

I recently caught up with event organizer Dana Gallaher and asked her what she was most excited about for the event this year.

"Obviously the tacos," she exclaimed, "So many good tacos!"

She also added her excitement for the amazing support the event is getting this year from Gusto Distributing, who will be serving up drinks for taco lovers throughout the event.

"And the people," she said beaming with excitement, "We work with Gusto Distributing and the people are really fun and hard workers."

The event currently has six vendors working the event that include: Max Casino and Sports Bar, Papos, Spices N Spurs, Electric City Catering, The Station, and The Rib and Chop House.

Taco Takedown Wants YOU

...and your tacos! While those six vendors could no doubt handle it, Taco Takedown organizers are looking for more vendors that are willing to make between 400 and 500 tacos for the event. Don't worry - they just need to be sample size, and event organizers will provide the boats and napkins.

"We have room both indoors and outdoors for more vendors," Dana proclaimed, "Call 406-799-6401 to see if you qualify to participate as a vendor."

Dana also couldn't contain her excitement, nearly running through an actual concrete wall, to share another important detail.

"We also do people's choice, and the winner receives a very nice plaque."

Before we wrapped up, Dana showed her appreciation to the Newberry for giving them the ability to include some positive changes.

"We just want people to have a great time and enjoy the last little bit of summer," Dana declared with a huge smile, "Moving it to the Newberry enabled us to include food trucks along with allowing 21 and under in."
