
Salvation Army Makes Big Announcement on Red Kettle Drive
Through the years of interviewing people, especially people that are asking for donations, I have come to realize that Great Falls is indeed a unique city.
Because each time, the residents will always step up and make things happen.
Whenever, Wherever, Great Falls Always Supports the Cause
And it doesn't matter the event. Such as fundraisers for school kids, local charities that are searching for donations of food or clothing. Or a family that has hit hard times due to perhaps a medical issue.

Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive at Local Stores During the Holidays
During the holidays, for the few weeks leading up to the big day, the Salvation Army begins their Red Kettle Fund Drive. The annual tradition of seeing volunteers standing with a bell, a sound we are all familiar with.

Those funds raised are then in turn used for various services throughout our community. Those valuable services include:
- Emergency disaster services
- After-school programs
- Utility and Rental assistance
- Client Choice Food Pantry
- Adult and Youth sports leagues
Salvation Army Makes Big Announcement on Red Kettle Drive
In a new announcement through social media, the Salvation Army of Great Falls says that "Because of you, our community, we didn’t just meet our Red Kettle goal—we surpassed it!" That goal for 2025 was set at $100,000 and a final total for the holiday showed Great Falls raising $108,000.
Along with the big news, the organization thanked the Great Falls community, saying "This is what happens when a community comes together—lives are changed. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in our mission and helping us serve those who need it most."
