
Great Falls Homeless – It Only Takes One Bad Apple
It is difficult to understand the desensitization of what we see every single day, regardless of which outlet we receive it from. Radio, print, video, online; they have all added to not being shocked or surprised.
It didn't lessen the impact of a recent photo from a downtown Great Falls business owner though, and the challenges they face with the homeless population in the city. It isn't an easy subject to broach, let alone have a discussion about. But things like defecation on our public streets isn't acceptable.

That old adage is what I am hoping is happening, especially downtown in Great Falls. That there is an extremely small group of people that don't care about what they do and have even less respect for their city or the residents within it. Yes, I am a little disturbed and perturbed how someone just up and dropped trousers at a local downtown business.

Yep, a dookie. Right there on Central Avenue in Great Falls. And yes, the business owner had to go full hazmat, and have it cleaned up before they could open their doors to the public. Disgusting on so many levels. And the owner said it isn't the first time something like this has happened in the area.
As New Housing is Built, Concerns Rise for Downtown Great Falls
According to the owner, summer saw disastrous activity when the city rerouted water downtown. A transient decided to take a quick shower with the attached hose to the building:
Despite some new housing being built to help with the homeless in Great Falls, concerns from the business owner are that the trend may only get worse.
