Heads Up from Energy West Montana in Great Falls
If you are like me, you probably keep a pretty close eye on activity around your home, whether the front yard, back yard or your street/alley.
Which is why I appreciate a quick letter from the Energy West Montana crew that came in my mailbox this past week.
Replacing Early Vintage Natural Gas Main and Services in Great Falls
Normally when you hear the word "vintage" is can be an important thing. But in the case of natural gas mains, that isn't the case. Energy West Montana wants to update those aging systems in central Great Falls.

Energy West has set a goal of having work completed between May and September of 2025. TruPipe will be in alleyways to locate and mark main and services with pink paint or pink markers. Between May and August other utility markings will be added prior to work.

Service and Access May Be Affected in Great Falls at Times
Energy West Montana stated that natural gas service will be temporarily interrupted during service line replacement. Alley access may be restricted or temporarily closed also for 2-3 days.

Natural gas interruption is typically 2-4 hours during the day. If you aren't home a door hanger will be left with contact information. You can find more information here.
