Amazing Fall Photos from Across Montana Landscapes

Due to the fact that my wife's favorite season is summer, the following statement might cause a small rift in my kitchen tonight:

"I like autumn/fall the best and it is my favorite season."

Sure, summer is wonderful, and as a golfer, the longer I get to play, especially in Montana, the better.  But, for me, you just can't beat the slightly cooler temperatures and the colors.  All of the magnificent colors of fall that paint the landscape of Big Sky Country make for some incredible viewing into winter.

Amazing Fall Photos from Across Montana Landscapes

Warm days may be continuing, but our nights are starting to be cooler, causing leaves to begin to turn the familiar yellow and get set to fall to the ground.  A recent trip to the Highwoods last weekend showed just how much things have started to brown across the mountain:

And just like in the mountains, Great Falls trees are beginning to show those same signs with colorful palettes just outside of our studios:

It won't be long before those same colorful leaves will hit the ground to be raked into piles.  In a way, the continued nice weather is making it just a little easier to enjoy these Mother Nature paintings for a while longer before the white stuff covers it all up.

Traveling Across Big Sky Country to Enjoy the Fall Colors

Taking in those colors doesn't take a long drive taking up your day.  You can probably catch them simply walking the sidewalk in your neighborhood.  One of my personal favorites is the golf course (of course).  The colors can be brilliant when fall hits.
