How to Enjoy the Montana Fiddlers Association This Summer
Odds are that on your travels across the Big Sky Country of Montana you've stopped somewhere on the dusty trail and heard live music being played. And it probably had the distinct sound of a fiddle coming from it also.
The love of that music is what keeps people coming to venues, small town fairs and the peanut shell covered floors of our favorite watering hole. And one group in Montana aims to continue those traditions of fiddle music by offering jams throughout the summer and fall in Big Sky Country.

Montana Old Time Fiddlers Association Brings the Music Since the 60's
Since 1964 the Montana Old Time Fiddlers Association has been entertaining and performing for people of all ages. Musicians across the state join together to help the preservation, education and performance of old-time fiddle music.

In Central Montana the District 8 Fiddlers host several events during the summer and early fall for fans to attend at different locations. This summer and fall the group will be hosting 5 jams in Great Falls and Choteau, Montana.
Where to Catch the District 8 Fiddlers in Central Montana this Summer
To attend a jam, fans have several opportunities to see the fiddlers in action for the summer and fall. In Great Falls show will be held at Cassiopea Books on July 26, 2025, and September 27, 2025. Both shows are at 1pm.
The city of Choteau, Montana will host 3 shows this year for the District 8 Fiddlers. Those dates are on July 13, August 10 and September 14, 2025. All ages and abilities are welcome to the shows.
