In just 3 weeks, kids (and adults) will be waking up to see what the jolly guy in the red suit left for them under the Christmas tree.  And as such, we find out if we made the naughty or the nice list for 2025.

When it comes to the naughty side of the list, not just people are put on it.  There is also a list of what toys you should steer clear of this year while doing your shopping.  Many popular items may be a hazard for children instead of endless hours of fun.

Being a GenX child, many of these toys seem pretty much like, well, toys.  But we were also the generation that didn't need disclaimers to tell us not to try what Wile E. Coyote was attempting from the Acme Company.

Careful, You'll Put an Eye Out with That - Hazards Everywhere

As holiday shopping hits a frenzy in the stores, the advocacy group "World Against Toys Causing Harm" or WATCH, has released their top 10 "worst" toys of 2025 list.  The group "informs the public about the dangers present in many toys, children’s products, and recreational activities" according to their website.

Most toys revealed on the list present many similar dangers among products including:

• suffocation
• eye injuries
• ingestion injuries
• choking hazards

Check the gallery below to see the biggest toys that aren't the best toys for under the tree this year.  But I do promise, if Santa brings me a "Nerf Pro Gelfire Igniter Blaster" this year, I won't shoot my eye out!
