It's time to get things going for AA Friday night football.

We're going to lead off with CMR high School on Friday, August 25th, kick-off 7pm, Baker Bob and Coach Mac will be in the broadcast booth to get the year started.

CMR is coming off of a difficult season last year, after starting hot and fresh.  The injury bug caught them and changed the dynamic, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

This is the fourth year that CMR has been under coach Dennis Morris.  He comes into the year with 13 seniors, but he feel confident because he has a stable of underclassmen ready to jump in and fulfill their rolls. The Rustlers lost their quarterback with graduation as he moves onto Montana State.  Stepping into the role, his little brother Caleb Taylor. The CMR Rustler will host Kalispell Flathead for this first week.  Kickoff is at 7.

Next week, another non-conference game on September 1 when they travel to Missoula to challenge Big Sky.  Coach, Dennis Morris is well aware that both of these teams, the Braves and the Eagles, have a rich history and tradition of winning and they're as anxious as the Rustlers to prove to the AA they they're back with their competitive edge.  It will be a strange dynamic since school isn't in session.  Coach Morris says that gives his team extra time to practice and get ready for this contest.

As for us broadcasters, we look forward to bringing you the play-by-play and the insights to make it an entertaining contest.  Look for us at Memorial Stadium for this contest and next week it will be the Great Falls High Bison as they host Missoula Hellgate for their contest for their first home game.  The Bison will open their season Friday night as they will go visit top-ranked and highly touted Glacier High.  We look forward to keeping you up-to-date with all the statistics from this week's contest looking forward to the matchups for September 1.
