What an exciting week in Central Montana. We were visited by the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales in Great Falls, Black Eagle, Malmstrom and Fairfield.

The Budweiser Clydesdales Tour 10 Months Out Of The Year

For 10 months of every year the Clydesdales and their handlers will make hundreds of appearances all over the country. They can be spotted in places like Fairfield, Montana all the way up to appearances at the Super Bowl.

Every Budweiser Clydesdale team travels with:

  • Groomers
  • 10 Clydesdales
  • Hitch drivers
  • Dieticians
  • Red, white and gold beer wagon
  • 50 foot tractor trailers with cameras

Random Clydesdale tour facts:

  • Each handcrafted harness and collar weighs about 130 pounds
  • Each horse has a short name like Duke or Bud so it's easier to shout out commands during performances
  • A Clydesdale horseshoe is about 20 inches and weighs around 5 pounds
  • Dalmatians have been travelling companions of the Budweiser Clydesdales since the 1950's

Central Montana Turned Out For The Budweiser Clydesdales

You couldn't swing a fish without someone showing you a picture of the Clydesdales, asking where they'd be, or asking if you'd seen them here in Central Montana.

It was a whirlwind 4 days with a very tight schedule for the world-famous horses.
