The Mansfield Center at the University of Montana has been notified that the Pentagon is cutting a grant valued at over $6 million. The grant helps funds programs that support democracy and civics education through the university at the Mansfield Center.

- K-12 teacher training for integrating civics into curriculum

Its believed that the University of Montana will be eliminating staff due to the cut.
