I wrote an article about the worst places to move in Montana.  You can check it out here:

Great Falls has a property crime problem

It doesn't make me a Great Falls hater when I say that we have the highest rate of property crime in the state. And once more in case you missed it, we have the highest rate of property crime in the state.  In fact, some would say I love Great Falls enough to say the bad things.

I have come to believe that Great Falls has a bigger problem than property crime. The biggest problem facing Great Falls is DENIAL.

Do the search, "Crime in Montana"

When you search "crime in Montana" these are the websites that feature Great Falls.  Click here, here, here, here, here, and here.  These are the articles ON THE FIRST PAGE of the search.

You see, not talking about it doesn't make the problem disappear, IT JUST MAKES IT NEWS.

What happens when you ignore your check engine light?

When the check engine light comes on in your car, chances are pretty dang good if you ignore it, your car is going to break down.  It's not a matter of IF, it's a matter of WHEN.

Ignoring this problem won't make it disappear

In fact, it's just going to get worse and worse and worse.  Criminals, in particular, THIEVES, know that Great Falls is a place they're pretty safe to do business.  And you tell me why they should think any different?

I know people who've been victimized

I can include myself as someone who's been robbed and told there's nothing that can be done.  I know two other people who had the thieves on tape.  The faces of the criminals were on tape. There are videos of them robbing my friends. They were told there was nothing they could do.  Even though you could have picked them out from anywhere with the evidence that's on tape.

Great Falls has a lot of positive.

We could probably be the #1 destination in Montana if we got our act together when it comes to crime.  Until we do that, there will always be a caution sign next to our name.

I'd really like to be able to stop writing these articles.

I'm always open to anything you have to say about me or my articles.  PLEASE do talk to me on social media, or better yet, the station app.
