What You Should Know About Recalled Kia Vehicles
The National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration is reporting that the vehicles that could be affected were produced at a Kia plant in Georgia between March 27, 202 and January 23, 2024

The affected Kia vehicles have a 1.6 Turbocharged Gasoline Direct Injection Engine. the number tied to this recall is SC356.
How Will I Know If My Kia Is Being Recalled?
Kia will be sending owners notification letters in January 2026.
You may also hear a popping sound from your fuel tank area, the Check Engine Light comes on, and/or your Kia isn't running right.
Is There Anything Kia Owners Can Do Prior To January?
To be on the safer side, you can bring your Kia into the dealership for a free inspection and check valve replacement. Some Kias will need fuel tanks replaced, as well.
