Getting A Vaccine Just Became A Lot More Complicated

Our Secretary of Health and Human Services in America, Robert Kennedy Junior, has turned the vaccine game on it's nose in America. It has just become a lot harder to get vaccines you want/need in America.

Kennedy and his all new Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, completely made up of known anti-vaxxers, came up with a new list of approved vaccines, and/or new guidance for vaccines for patients of all ages, and they pass that information along to the CDC.

What Vaccines Are Affected By The New HHS Guidelines?

From what I can tell, it's mainly the Covid-19 Vaccine. They've shored it up to only people 65 or over can get the vaccine and SOME children. It depends on their age and the Covid vaccine offered.

Did You Know Insurance Only Covers Vaccines Recommended By The CDC?

If the Covid Vaccine isn't approved by Kennedy and the anti-vaxxing  bunch at the DHHS, it's going to run you at least $200.

Hmm. So can people REALLY get the vaccines they want, or is this the way to phase out vaccines all together?

I say this because a few years back, I got a call asking if I wanted the Shingles vaccine (and I desperately wanted it. Shingles terrifies me.) and the vaccine would have been $500 out of pocket. Naturally I didn't get the Shingles vaccine then. I got it last year and it cost me nothing out of pocket. I can't tell you what a relief it is to know I have a fighting chance against that nightmarish disease.

Do You Need A Doctors Note To Have A Covid Vaccine In Montana?

I talked to someone at my pharmacy yesterday, and she said in Montana we don't need a doctor's note to get a Covid vaccine, yet.

I asked if insurance still paid for the Covid vaccine and she said, right now.
