What Tourists Expect To See On Their Montana Vacation
It's Tourist Season In Montana
It seems like tourist season is every season any more in Montana, but I digress. We are closing in on the official official tourist season in Montana.
As with every tourist season, before we know it there will be an influx of out of staters and sometimes out of country folks, coming here to take in the grandeur of Montana in the Summer.
As a native Montanan, I both look forward to tourist season and also hate it with all of the heat of the fires of hell. We want the dollars, we don't need the shenanigans.
It got me thinking, just what DO people think goes on in Montana? Here's what I came up with.
What Tourons Think Happens In Montana
First thing that comes to mind is this:
Riding Bison In Yellowstone Park. Uh, no. You will regret even TRYING this
And this:
I feel this is the most realistic of the Canva AI generated pictures because it appears this wolf is using the arm of his latest victim to take the selfie.
Then this:
The hot springs in Yellowstone Park will kill you. Not just kill you, either. Eat you alive with acid and nothing is left to find kill you.
And NOBODY is doing this:
As much as we may like the shows, Montanans have an deep hatred of the show Yellowstone.
As for Glacier Park:
I swear sometimes, I think tourists think this is happening by the Going-To-The-Sun Road. Anyone that knows anything knows you take this road seriously.
And finally this:
Bears, especially this nice Grizzly bear here, are NOT CUTE AND CUDDLY. This bear is calming them down before he EATS THE TOURISTS.
The Moral Of This Montana Story?
We'd love for you to visit big sky country. We'd love a chance to show you a great summer vacation before you GO HOME.
Just have realistic expectations. Respect the national parks, the landmarks, and the animals that call those parks home.
