Do You Know Montana's Top 10 Employers?

Tourism and Agriculture are two big industries in Montana, but they aren't the top two employers in Montana.

You might have an idea or a guess as to some of the top employers but when it comes to a top 10 list, would you be able to correctly name all of them?

It's been a bit of a struggle to find the answer to this article.

I have looked on the Montana Labor Market Information website, but sadly their list is from 2021.

Not to mention, they don't get an exact number of employees. They only list employees in groups for instance over 1000 or 500-999

Talk about frustrating.

Where To Find Montana's Biggest Employers?

In my search I found one website called Zippia, that claimed to list the biggest employers in Montana.

Yet the odd thing about this list, is they include some employers that I've never heard of.

Plus some of the information seems wrong, as they said one company was an energy and automation digital solutions company on one page, then a sports company on another. Plus they're a French company, so that's not what we're after here.

Finally I came across a post from Bozeman Real Estate Group and I think we finally have our answer.

There I found companies that I had heard of, that were Montana based, and also gave us more of an idea of the total of employees they each employed.

So, check out the top 10 employers in Montana in the gallery below. 👇
