The two National Parks in Montana overshadow plenty of tourist attractions in our beloved state. Sometimes it almost feels like they get an overdue amount of attention, espcially when you consider Montana is home to 55 State Parks as well.

Well thankfully the website Alot.com is shining a spotlight on what they feel is the best tourist attraction for those that want to see another side of Montana. They put out a list of the best tourist attractions in each state, and for Montana, it's State Park named after two people who didn't even discovery it.

That's right Alot.com says to see the best tourist attraction in Montana you have to visit the Lewis & Clark Caverns.  Here's what they had to say about it,

Although they were unaware of it, Lewis and Clark camped near these caverns on their expedition across the United States. Ranchers discovered the caves near the end of the 19th century and began giving public tours shortly thereafter. Today, Lewis and Clark Caverns State Park is a great site for camping, hiking, and other outdoor activities.

Those of us living in Montana know just how special the Lewis & Clark Caverns are and it's nice to see other people spreading the love around. If you are thinking about visiting, Alot.com even suggests the prime time to come.

Despite all the visitors, the caverns are still home to hundreds of western big-eared bats that use the caves to birth and raise their young. If you happen to be a little batty yourself, you’ll definitely want to come during August when the caves annually celebrate Bat Week.
