Two Montana Cities Among The Dirtiest In America

We like to think of Montana as one of the most beautiful states in America, and honestly, we aren't wrong; it is stunning in it's beauty.

How Are These Montana Cities Rated Dirty?

The website Lawnstarter released their "25 Dirtiest Cities In America" list earlier this year, and they did a lot of research to figure out just what cities were the dirtiest.

They looked at four different categories: Pollution, Living Conditions, Infrastructure, and Resident Dissatisfaction, while also looking at things like water quality, waste management, and even the amount of smokers in a given city.

The Two Dirtiest Cities In Montana Are:

It shouldn't shock anyone that the two dirtiest cities in Montana are also the two biggest cities in the state.

Billings had a total score of 31.86, making it the 189th dirtiest city in America, while Missoula had a total score of 31.08, placing it at number 204.

One positive note: when it came to both cities infrastructure scores, they were both ranked in the top 15, as Billings had the 10th best infrastructure score while Missoula was rated the 12th best.
