Well, it is that time again, and I'm not talking figuratively; I'm talking literally.
Daylight saving time will be ending soon; in fact, it's ending sooner this year than in most years.

Most people are split on whether we should continue springing ahead and falling back twice a year.
Some people love the "extra" sunlight that we get each morning during the fall, but in reality it's still the same amount of sunlight regardless of the time on the clock.
This year daylight saving time will end at 2am on November 2nd, 2025, but will it be the last time we have to do the time change in Montana?
What Lawmakers Have Tried In Montana
For years now people have been petitioning to get rid of daylight saving time across America.
In 2018 Secretary of State Marco Rubio, then a U.S. Senator, put forth the "Sunshine Protection Act". It passed the Senate in 2022, but sadly the House didn't vote on it.
Here in Montana a bill was put forth earlier this year to keep Montana on standard time throughout the year, but it died in May.
So for the time being it appears that Montana will be falling back in the fall and springing ahead in the spring for the foreseeable future.
