Why Montana Not Making This Top 50 List Is The Greatest
When it comes to rankings usually you want to see yourself, your town or state ranked high.
No one wants to find themselves at the bottom on the list or even left off the list completely.
That is unless the list is for something that is considered a negative.
This list I found is exactly that, a negative, and why not finding a single Montana town on it is actually a good thing.
So why is it good news Montana is not on this list.
The list in discussion here comes from the the website 24/7 Wall St.
Their latest list is highlighting the top 50 least educated towns in America.
Of those 50 cities not one Montana town is listed, and that should something to celebrate.
I don't want you to get the idea that I believe that lack of education means someone is dumb.
It also doesn't mean you won't be successful in life without an education either.
I know plenty of successful people that some would consider "uneducated," but would also never be called dumb.
24/7 Wall St does have some stats backing them up in regards to higher salaries when it comes education,
The average weekly wage for a college-educated worker in the United States is about 67% higher than it is for those with no more than a high school diploma. And in places with low educational attainment, incomes also tend to be lower than average.
So while success is not guaranteed by getting an education, it can sure help.
Does that mean the following towns are the most educated?
