If you are someone who never changes their password, you're going to want to change things up after you hear about what ABC News discovered.
Your PIN, or personal identification number, is supposed to be unique to you and you alone, but it turns out you share it with quite a few other people.
While it's true that there are only a limited number of number combinations, it's still surprising to learn that 1 in 10 people in Montana share the same PIN number and use it across all their accounts that require a 4-digit code for security.
Montana's Most Hackable PINs Revealed
ABC News did a deep dive on a website named "Have I Been Pwned," which allows people to check to see if their email has been involved in a data breach.
I get why people use the same number for everything, due to the fact we have to remember SO MANY OF THEM.
Still, we all know better, right?
We're not trying to fearmonger you here with this information, but more just give you a gentle reminder that if it's been a while since you changed your PIN numbers or passwords, now might be a good time to do so.
