Where Montana Ranks For Housing Affordability

According to their data, Montana homeowners are spending around 30% of their income on housing, while renters are at about 31%.

What’s interesting is where that puts us. For homeowners, Montana ranks 9th highest in America for income going toward housing. Renters are a little lower on the list, coming in at 18th.

Still, if things keep trending this way, you have to wonder how anyone is going to make it work on a single income, and that goes for renters too.
