I knew of a few different belts in America but had no idea there were this many, and Montana is only involved with one.

There is a Bible Belt, where attendance of churchgoers is higher than anywhere in the nation, and the Rust Belt, where there were thriving iron and steel industries.

Those were the most commonly known belts to Americans, but did you know there are thirteen belt regions in the United States? There is everything from a Corn Belt, where the majority of corn is produced for the world, and a Stroke Belt, where a region has higher cases of strokes than anywhere in America.

The question is there a belt that Montana is a part of? The answer is yes, and it's a surprising region.

A large part of Montana is included in the Wheat Belt of America. The Wheat Belt includes the states of North and South Dakota, Minnesota, Kansas, Colorado, and Montana. The Wheat Belt is where the majority of wheat is produced not only for America but for the world.

Montana is known for growing a specific kind of wheat called Hard Red Spring Wheat. This wheat is used in everything from pizza crusts to bagels to artisan bread. Hard Red Spring Wheat flour is highly requested by many bakers due to its consistency when incorporated into foods.

Montana has a Golden Triangle that produces more wheat than any other region in America. This region is densely packed with fields and produces high amounts every year.
