The National Highway Traffic Administration (NHTA) says this costs American citizens almost 8 billion dollars each year.

In 2022, the two most stolen vehicles in America were the full-sized Chevy's and the full-sized Ford's, respectively.

In 2023, Chevy fell to #4 while Ford dropped all the way to #9.

Replacing them at the top 3 spots were all foreign vehicles, as the Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Sonata, and Kia Optima were the 3 most stolen vehicles.

That is not the case when it comes to the 10 most stolen vehicles in Montana; in fact, not one of those cars even made the list.
