How TikTok Slang Is Warping The Way Teens Talk Under The Big Sky
Plenty of these words are considered "brain rot," and for those unfamiliar with brain rot, it's not pretty.
"Brain rot" is a slang term for the negative effect that media consumption today has on the younger generation's mind.
The type of media we're talking about isn't full-length movies or even TV shows for kids.
No, we're talking about the short-form videos you find on TikTok or YouTube.
It's not just kids, as I'm a victim of these videos as well. I can get deep into a rabbit hole late at night while scrolling through them, and I seriously feel the brain drain.
While I'm not one for censorship or telling people what they can and can't say, it's not like banning things is a foreign concept, as we've already got some names that are banned under the Big Sky.
