Food Republic says the best day to go shopping is on Wednesday in the middle of the day before the 5 p.m. rush.
Stores are usually full stocked that day, so you'll get your pick of fresh produce and meats, plus new sales also start to show up then as well.
The added bonus of shopping when it's less crowded and hectic is you can shop smart. Inside of just grab and go shopping to avoid the crowds, with fewer people and less stress, you can be more selective about what you buy and have fewer impulse buys, thus saving you money.
