I believe everyone thinks they won't be the victim of a scam or that they'll be able to easily spot an attempt to scam them.

Unfortunately, with an upcoming Prime Day from Amazon, there are going to be plenty of chances for us in Montana to fall prey to the latest scams.

When Is The Latest Prime Day Coming?

Since 2015, Amazon has been running promotional sales entitled "Prime Day" as a way to celebrate Amazon Prime and their customers with two days of sales.

The last few years in the fall they've added another big sale in what they call "Prime Big Deal Days," and it's coming back in 2024.

As for the exact date, we're not sure, but according to The Today Show, it will be sometime in October, and you can bet that scammers are just as excited as you are.

Why Are Scammers Targeting Amazon Shoppers?

According to the Federal Trade Commission, or FTC, Amazon was the second most impersonated brand in America last year.

And why wouldn't scammers target Amazon? They have a huge customer base, and most scammers play the numbers.

You have better odds of being successful when you're sending out millions of scam emails to Amazon's customer base than say the 20 people on the email list of your local mom and pop shop.

That's why it's so important for you to be aware of some of the biggest and most common scams out there when it comes to Amazon.
