Great Falls Man Arrested On Charges Involving Sixth-Grade Girls

According to The Electric, Great Falls man Reese Riggin has been arrested on new charges accusing him of inappropriately touching multiple sixth-grade girls.

Riggin was previously convicted of felony sexual intercourse without consent and, in 2016, was sentenced to a 20-year commitment to the Montana Department of Corrections, with 15 years suspended.

Arrest In Spokane Follows Cascade County Arrest Warrant

He was arrested June 25 in Spokane while attending a 3-on-3 basketball tournament.

The arrest came one day after Cascade County District Judge David Grubich issued a warrant with a $150,000 bond. The warrant also ordered Riggin to have no contact with the alleged victims, stay off public school property, and avoid contact with anyone under the age of 18.

According to court documents, probation officer Tim Hides, said the Great Falls Police Department received a report on June 3 alleging Riggin had inappropriately touched children while helping at an event at Meadowlark.

One girl told investigators Riggin "curved his hand up her side," making her feel unsafe. Another alleged he "brushed his hand from her hip to her sports bra," leaving her feeling uncomfortable and scared.
