Sadly, Even Montana Has Sex Offenders

As much as we like to think Montana is free from some crime you see on the national news every night, it just isn't the case.

While we might not have as many cases, and they usually don't make the national news, Montana and the surrounding states are still dealing with horrific crimes done by some very bad individuals.

How Does Montana Handle Sex Offenders?

As much as some people would like it to be the case, not every person convicted of a sex crime is put in jail with the key thrown away.

Some of these offenders, no matter how heinous and horrific their crime in our eyes, are released back into polite society and need to reintegrate themselves into our community.

How each state handles the release of these people will differ from one state to the other; while some are very strict, other states offer a bit more lenience.
