
Important Safety Recall For Select Cheese Items
There Is A Nationwide Cheese Recall Due To Possible Listeria Contamination
The Ambriola Company has issued a recall for some of their cheese products. While performing routine testing, Ambriola found some Listeria monocytogenes present.
To be safe, the Company is recalling the cheese they tested and any other cheese products that were processed in the same factory.

To date, no sickness has been reported from using the cheeses.
The cheese was distributed nationwide from November 3, 2025 through November 20, 2025. The expiration dates are in 2026.
What Cheeses From Ambriola Company Are Being Recalled?

If these cheeses are in your home, do not eat them. The Ambriola Company suggests returning it to the store where you bought the cheese.

What Is Listeria?
From the FDA:
"Listeria monocytogenes (L. monocytogenes) is a type of disease-causing bacteria that can be found in many places, including soil, water, sewage, rotting vegetation, and animals. It can survive and grow even under refrigeration. L. monocytogenes can thrive in unsanitary food production conditions, leading to contamination of the food. When people eat food contaminated with L. monocytogenes, they may develop a disease called listeriosis."
What Are The Symptoms Of Listeria?
Symptoms from Listeria include:
- fever
- muscle aches
- upset stomach
- vomiting and/or diarrhea
- headache
- stiff neck
- confusion
- loss of balance
- convulsions
- May even cause miscarriage, stillbirth. premature delivery or a life-threating infection to the baby
