Technology has allowed more and more people to move to our isolated area but still stay connected to where they left.

In talking with Montana residents who were born here or moved here long ago, the one thing that made Montana special was we didn't care how the rest of America did things.
For the longest time Montana kept that wild west independent spirit burning, and it sometimes feels we've gotten away from that.
Most residents will tell you, we don't mind outsiders moving to our state, but that comes with a caveat.
