It Takes More Money Today To Be Considered Middle Class
The website GoBankingRates took a look at the Pew Research Centers definition of being middle class then analyzed data from the U.S. Census Bureau’s American Community Survey and were able to figure out how much it would take to be middle class for all two, three and four person households.
As for Montana here are the statistics on much your salary would need to be to make the middle class:
I have a feeling the majority of Montanans might be on the lower side of those income ranges, since we regularly rank at the bottom of the list when it comes to salaries in America.
However, there is a bit of good news when it comes to being middle class in America, as Montana is one of the easiest states to reach that status.
