I cannot believe we are almost at the halfway point of November, and it still does not feel like winter in Montana yet.
I almost hesitated to write this article for fear of bringing about the coldest winter we've ever seen.

We have highlighted before what this winter holds in store for us thanks to extended forecasts from both Farmers Almanac and the Old Farmer's Almanac and even AccuWeather.
All three forecasts appear to differ, but as we know, if you do not like the weather in Montana, just wait five minutes and it will change.
The one thing they did all mention is that we would probably be experiencing a late winter, so these warmer temps here this November were to be expected.
Looking Back: Montana’s Coldest Novembers Since 1895
Stacker, however, wanted to take a look back and check out some of the coldest winters we have seen here under the Big Sky since 1895.
They partnered up with the National Centers for Environmental Information to compile their list of 10 coldest Novembers.
They also included some more great information; beside just the coldest temps, they looked at the average temperature across the state and added the snow totals we got that month as well.
