Today's moral standards are much different than when the Pilgrims made their journey to America.

While today we aren't as puritanical as they were, we haven't completely done away with the idea of sin.

That's why WalletHub wondered which city was the most sinful in America, and it turns out it wasn't Sin City, better known as Las Vegas.

How WalletHub Measured Sin

So how did WalletHub determine a town's sinful rating? By analyzing each town's violent crimes per capita to excessive drinking and the number of adult entertainment establishments per capita, broken down into 37 key indicators of vices and illicit behaviors.

So which two Montana cities met WalletHub’s criteria for being the most sinful?

Billings, Montana

Ranked as the 39th most sinful city in America, Billings had a Vice Index Score of 42.05; here's how the rest of their report card breaks down.
