Ask any Montana resident what the best state in America is, and I'd wager 9 out of 10 will say the Treasure State.

We're truly blessed to be living in a state that offers so much to its residents, but do others outside of Montana think the same?

Is Montana Still The Last Best Place In America?

Personally, I think Montana has a great quality of life and truly does live up to its nickname, "The Last Best Place."

Sadly, it's not up to me to determine if Montana ranks among the best when it comes to quality of life.

That task was handled by the Forbes website, which evaluated each city’s crime rate, air quality, and quality of education to determine the top 15 cities with the best quality of life in 2024.

While it might be sad that Montana didn't show up on the list of cities with the best quality of life, it might actually be a good thing.

Over the last half decade, we've seen a huge influx of people moving to our state, and maybe now that we're no longer popping up on lists touting us as a great place to live, it will deter newcomers.
