Target Hopes New Changes Will Reduce Shrinkage

Is This The Solution To Theft Issues At Montana Target Stores
In 2023, Target said a decrease in their profits to a total of $500 million was due to shrinkage, and they have a plan to reduce that number going forward.
For the longest time, high-ticket items have been behind a locked case, and now you can expect to see items that are considered "prone to theft" also be behind lock and key.
They also plan to beef up their security along with training for employees to "protect themselves and de-escalate potential safety issues."
It's still up in the air if this will help stop theft, but hopefully it works because that keeps the prices down for everyone.
