A New ‘Refund Without Return’ Policy Is Helping Montana Shoppers
Montanans Surprised by New Return Policy
Shopping for items online is easy and convenient until you need to return an item you bought.
While online returns weren't the hardest, they did require some work on your part, until now, it seems.

Walmart & Amazon Say: Keep the Item, Get a Refund
It's never fun to buy something and not have it be either the right size, what you wanted, or maybe even broken.
Well now, Walmart, along with Amazon and very soon to include Target, is trying out a new return policy that shoppers across Montana and America are getting a bit nervous about.
It's called "Refund without Return," and it almost sounds too good to be true, but what does it really mean, and why is it happening now?
Refunds Without Returns? What Montana Shoppers Should Know
The reason shoppers are nervous about this new return policy is the companies that have implemented it are approving the return, refunding your money, and then telling you to go ahead and keep the product you are returning.
They claim it's saving them money by no longer having to pay for the shipping on the return.
It also helps build trust among the consumer, which is why you'll probably see Target and maybe even a company like Temu start to offer the same "Refund without Return" policy.
Now granted, these returns aren't going to be for something that you paid thousands of dollars for, but instead for products and items that are low cost, say less than $75.
There is also a catch as well: you can't ask for this return policy, and it seems to just happen randomly. Plus, if you try to do it too often, they will flag your account.
