Well, the Super Bowl just ended, and we can argue about that bad call all off season.  However, that doesn’t fix my biggest problem at hand.  With no more football until fall, how am I supposed to spend my Sundays now?

Football is the best, it happens in the fall and winter so it’s the perfect excuse to stay inside and veg out on the couch. I also have a built in excuse to get out of things I don’t want to do “Sorry I can’t, the Vikings are on TV.”

But that’s all gone now, and I don’t know what I’m going to do with all this free time. Here’s just a few things I’ve thought about on how to spend my Sundays with no football.

Clean the garage.

Sure, it’s messy, but it’ll just get dirty again so why even bother.

Tackle that honey-do list.

They haven’t been handled in the last 6 months, if I just hold out for another 6 months it’ll be football season again.

Take down the Christmas lights.

Christmas Lights

I could do this, but it’s windy out there. I could fall and break my neck, probably best if I just leave them up till next Christmas.

Pick up a new hobby.

They say it takes 10,000 hours before you are good at something and that seems like a big-time commitment.

Do my taxes.

Taxes

OK this one I will have to do at some point, but I think I can wait until April to get started on those.

Boy I just can’t think of anything to fill my time on Sundays without football. I guess I’ll just have to start watching basketball.
