Great Falls Is Home To 3 Of The 10 Best Department Stores In The US

When it comes to shopping in Great Falls we can sometimes long for what we don't have, but we've actually got some good shopping here.

I was also VERY surprised when I saw what store USA Today considered to be the top department store in America.

USA Today has a section called 10 Best where they take a panel of experts and ask them their opinion on a topic.

They then poll their readers to also weigh in with their opinion on the same topic.

That is how they came up with the 10 best department stores in America, some of which I'm very familiar with since they are in Great Falls. Then there are a few I've never heard of before today.

What Stores In Great Falls Made The List?

Coming in at Number 10 on their list is TJ Maxx:

More than 1,000 T.J.Maxx locations around the country have garnered a loyal following of shoppers for their heavily discounted high-quality, brand-name fashions. New deliveries at each store several times per week make shopping at the department store akin to a fashion "treasure hunt."

The next store in Great Falls is the Number 6 store, Target:

There’s little that Target doesn’t offer in the way of clothing, accessories, home goods, and electronics. Its products are focused on design, and the company strives to make the “Target run” convenient and affordable. And when shoppers utilize a Target RedCard and the Target Circle Rewards program, deals really hit the mark.

And finally the Number 1 store on their list, which honestly came as a shock to me since they've suffered some rough challenges financially as of late is JCPenney:

JCPenney has more than 600 department stores across 49 states and Puerto Rico, with each one offering an assortment of national, private, and exclusive brands at a variety of price points. That includes brand names like Liz Claiborne, Frye and Co., and Nicole by Nicole Miller.
