These Sodas Are Now Gone For Good Here In Montana

Is soda, or pop as we call it in Montana, as popular as it used to be? These days there are all sorts of new ways to get your caffeine fix, from energy drinks to sugary coffee drinks.

Then when you add in our understanding of high fructose corn syrup, it seems less people are drinking pop, which could explain why so many have disappeared from Montana shelves.

Did You Get Pop When You Were A Kid?

My parents didn't exactly keep pop away from me, but it wasn't like they were giving it to me in a bottle from birth either.

Most often as kids we were given some juice, such as Hi-C or a fruit juice, if we were thirsty.

But let's be honest: if you are of a certain age, you just drank from the garden hose and continued to be ignored by your parents until the street lights turned on.
