How TikTok Is Changing The Way Fans Watch NFL Games

Do you use TikTok? Personally I don't, but that's just because I try to minimize the number of social media apps I use.

There are lots of great content creators on that platform helping people out, but it's a recent trend that is really helping people save money.

The Rising Cost Of Watching The NFL

Watching the NFL can be very expensive for some people.

I'm a prime example, as I'm a Vikings fan, and while we get plenty of Vikings games over the air here in Montana, we don't get them all.

That's why Sunday Ticket became so popular; it allowed out-of-market fans still follow their hometown teams.

Why NFL Streaming Is Becoming Popular On TikTok

Like everything, however, the price kept climbing up until it got to be too expensive for most people.

With people looking to save money but still wanting to watch football, people sought new ways to watch, which is why some TikTok streamers now show full NFL games.

It's not just the games either, as some streamers are even streaming the Red Zone Channel.

Legal Uncertainty Surrounding NFL Streams On TikTok

I remember when a dodgy website was how you had to watch illegal NFL streams, so this just feels like the natural advancement of technology.

Whether or not the NFL shuts down these streamers remains to be seen.

That said, you still won't catch me downloading TikTok anytime soon.
