One Of The Most Beautiful Botanical Gardens Is Hiding In Montana
Montana Town Home To One Of The Best Botanical Gardens In America
When thinking about Montana a botanical garden is probably not the first thing you think of.
A big reason why is our long winter months which would means a very short growing season here in the Treasure State.
However, anyone that has visited our lovely state would tell you that during that short growing season we have some of the most beautiful wildflowers and plants of any state in America.
Surprisingly enough there are quite a few botanical gardens in Montana, or at least more than I would have thought there would be.
According to the website Best Things Montana there are actually six botanical gardens, but only one has been named the best in the state.

If that is to far a drive for a weekend getaway there are some other great places to visit, like DanWalt Gardens which is called "Billings Best Kept Secret."

While our growing season might be short, there is no shortage of beauty during it.
